Flag Day is OVER!

Had breakfast at Macs. Went for donation-hunting at Tampines with Ebenezer, Shirley and Edwin. Walked around tampines. till we found a good spot between TM and Centuary Square. My container was almost 1/2 full. It was at first very demoralising to get rejected by ppl. but kind ppl came and donated. Then went to mos burger with Shirley, Ebenezer, Edwin, Khairul, Shaun and Kai Siang. Very funny. Then went to see Tampines1. Shaun, Kai Siang and I walked around every level..while the rest were too lazy to walk and sat down.

Took MRT. The MRT incident was SOOOO funny *winks*.

TAGORE CHEERLEADING!

School was locked in the morning. Went to Eileen's condo but she went Malaysia. got chased out by security guard. So we practised at the void deck. Then went back to school at about 1pm to practise some stunts. And went home at 3.30pm. That day was super fun and successful. YAY! Starting to love tagore. Everyone's becoming so supportive of tagore. Cant wait for Sports Day on Friday.

MISS DANCE CAMP A LOT <3

Day 1 (16th March 2009)

Was late..because i waited for the bus 30 for a long 25 minutes. Then unpacked, and training for 3hrs. Then lunch with 2 hrs of break. Genevieve, Sin May, Jasmine and I went to slack at the drama room, and we later went to the hall to play Handiplast and Double Wacko. Very fun. Then 3hrs of training. Then water bomb!!!! There were 4 groups. Arefa was super wet and we were asked to sit in circles in our groups and close our eyes and look down. Our group was sure that they were later splash water at us. And indeed when the sec3s told us to open our eyes, they immediately splashed 2 pailes of water at all of us and my left side was drenched wet. The sec4s and 3s quickly chong to bathe cuz the rest didnt bring down their stuff. Then dinner and a long break. There was amazing race. The first station was super gross and sick. 2nd station was to peel the banana, and some of the band ppl were watching us. 3rd station was to try to make Germaine laugh..but the sec4s couldnt help...and in the end we couldnt make her laugh. 4th station was Jeanette's and Novita's station. Jermaine quickly reached the finishing line a few seconds before time was up..phew. 4th station...had to wait for the previous group to finish. and we had to search for tags to form a sentence. Next was the movie "bring the house down". The beginning was boring.. so Sin May and I went back to our dorm to talk with Sharon. And we slept quite early..and the floor is super hard.

2nd day
Woke up at 7.20am. Had breakfast and training at the Art Room and we moved all the tables and chairs. Training was tiring and we wanted so badly to eat. The Sec 1s were very good in their dance techniques. There was lunch and I so-kind-heartedly followed Jasmine and Sin May (even though i wasnt asked to go) to go with KC to find the costumes. We took a cab. KC treated us to dessert and walked to the taylor and took a cab back to school and was 5 minutes late for practice. We asked KC to give us 10mins break. Jasmine left her bag in the Art Room and we followed her..and we also carried back the radio, microphone and 3 pairs of dunno-whose-socks back to the hall. And ppl were asking why we were carrying socks. The training was most tiring of all...and everyone switched off about 1 hr after dance started. Actually its not tat its tiring..but it is boring doing the same set of dance steps for 3 hours. Training was initially from 2-5pm but the instructor wanted to strength it to 5.30 or even 6pm. Which meant that the later activites would be affected. But seeing how dead tired/bored we are...we ended at 5.15pm.

At 5.30, we had water bomb again with the 800 or so water balloons we had left. It was sec3&4s VS sec2s VS sec1s. At 1 go, 3 Sec1s threw water ballons at me 1 by 1 and i was wet. But through half of the game, we were stopped due to an accident and we could not play with the remaining balloons we had.

Dinner was ok and at 7.20pm Meryl and I called Mr Azlan to give him a fright. We asked Timothy to pass the phone to the teacher. And we shouted hi to him and the band ppl all looked at us. We bluffed him that we were going for tuition and we would be reaching in 5 mins time. HAHA! The person at the counter called me 10mins later asking if I was going for tuition..i said no..but told her not to tell Mr Azlan. Then I called timothy to pass the phone to cher..but cher dun wan. Then i call Mr Azlan..i said "We're not going. We're going. Aiyah..we're not going. We are going." and so on so forth..and i could hear the class laughing in the background. HAHA. I bet he's super happy that we didnt go cuz we are rather noisy and talkative. HAHA!

Obstacle race. My partner was Amira and she was AWESOME. Couldnt watch the movie cuz dun have the sound cable..and some of the juniors slept first while the seniors talked to the teachers. Then night walk with amira. very funny. We went by the wrong way. and shirley is freaky.

3rd day: pack up, went for the physics thingy 2nd shift. then home.

Hi! Just updating. I would like to thank everyone who wished me happy birthday and to those who gave me presents and cards. Thank you so much :D
Quite busy studying for tests and i might only update after a long time.

15th Feb 2009
Went with PK and Wei Jie to Cornerstone for the Planetshakers concert.
The event was quite short. But it was still fruitful. And I got to know new songs and open up my faith. Then we went home.

Dance 3 times a week. But the practices for SYF are always very fun. And we are getting there. Hope that we can do better for this year's SYF! GO TKDANCE!

Nothing much to post about. Bye :)

I think I might not be blogging anymore..but i might keep the links there...so that i wont lose all of the links.

But for now...EOYs HAS OFFICIALLY ENDED!!! WOOHOO!!!

Super happy. I've been studying like crazy for the eoys...like staying up to 1am and drinking coffee just to keep awake.

But I couldnt finish almost half of the papers...and i found out that right after the Amaths paper2 that i had made a careless mistake. Frustrating. Hope all my hard work has paid off.

And I found out that having examinations in the hall can be quite funny. Being relieved tat the paper is over, can make ppl do funny things. No more stress! For now, as our usual tests will start torturing us once again. Argh.

HELLO.
Got back Physics, E Maths and A Maths.
Emaths was horrendous.
A MATHS & PHYSICS ARE GOOD.
1stly, I got a lot of things to thank GOD for (srry, feel like blogging about this):

I did well for A Maths (23/25) & Physics (41/50)!! SUPER HAPPY!!! I was praying super hard...and believing in HIM.
I got chosen as one of the 6 people to dance 20-8s for National Day. Super happy...To me, if I dun get chosen, I would think tat Ive failed all my 7 years worth of dancing (from primary 3 to now). And I've been praying about my Dancing since the start of the term, and Ive not been confident of myself...due to some reasons. But now today's dance practice has really boost my conjfidence...and now im smiling more....except for 1 comment today. Tsk.
IM NOT FEELING SO STRESSED! Besides the fact that I've CHINESE ORAL TOMORROW!!!

Today there was photo-taking and dance practice. The costume and the hairstyle and make-up look good together. And since Tuesday, Ive been practising and trying to boost my confidence. And it finally worked.. OMGoodness. But im still gonna try to prove myself and my 7 years worth of dancing and bring it to the next level. And today for the hair, some of sec 3s ....used super a lot of gel to make their hairstyle. And my hair practically looked like a size of a bush. And I changed my original time slot (last person for the 4.00pm) to the second person of the 2.30pm slot. And my oral was totally screwed. I did my best to pronounce all the "the" words as "thee" when the word word appears in front of a vowel....but i think the picture discussion and conversation was tough. Just hope tat I can do well to pull my overall EL marks up.

Tmr is Chinese Oral!!! CHINESE!!! I somehow have a funny feeling tat its my doom. CHINESE!! Imagine if I dunno how to read one chinese character....its kinda impossible to guess how to read the word accurately. UNLIKE ENGLISH. E.g. : "In-side". So simple. And I huge worry...since primary 3, Ive been reading Chinese like an Ang-Moh. Often a common statement by my chinese teachers. Tats why I'm so dead. If I pass my Chinese Oral, Im already super happy.

And common words/phrases this week:

1. Karma (said by Heetesh during Geography & also said by my chinese teacher today) And everyone who knew the inside joke was laughing...so coincidental.

2. Pressure (now learning in both physics and geography lessons...so funny)

Pressure = Force exerted / Area OR Pressure is also stress.

HAPPY 50TH

ANNIVERSARY TO

BFEC!!!!

WOOHOOO!!!!

Today is jubilee...and of course in church, we celebrated BFEC's 50th bday.....the videos were super funny....and i never knew that my church members compose songs....and the songs have a lot of meaning.
And the church was dressed up....as if it was some major celebration. So nice!!!

Ive been recently super not confident of my dancing. And im not gonna say why. But ive been practising super duper hard at home like even doing the lamest things you can find.

NUBIEN GENTS!!!

Thanks to Nevin for invited me to that event. There was Melissa, Elizabeth, Nevin, PK & me. Had tuition first....and i rushed all the way to MRT Station. Met them at Pasir Ris Macs... then Walked to Riverlife Church (which is their church) cuz there was some miscommunication with the bus driver. Then there was singing first (and the drummer was playing in a big transparent box)...then the nubien gents was on!! And Melissa and Elizabeth was super high. They kept screaming. And when the Nubien gents asked who wanted the blouse, then 1 boy was like shouting hysterically and ran up on stage...but he had another competitor. And they danced their way to the Nubien Gents Blouse. Very funny.

After the whole event, Melissa and Elizabeth was going around camworing with every Nubien Gent they can find. AND not forgetting the "box". Then went to eat and went home...probably took the 2nd last bus 21. And I reached home at 12.25am!!! So late!!! A NEW RECORD (lastest time which I reached home) HAS BEEN SET!! Beating the planetshakers and hillsong concerts! WOOOHHOOOO!!!

And I bought the newest hillsong CD "This IS Our GOD"!! The songs are super meaningful and can immediately touch your heart! Gotta go now...Gotta study for Physics test. HAIZZZZ

P.S. Regretted on not going for Singapore selection VS Brazil Olympic Team football/soccer match....HAIZ. Suay..D:
